Harper Adams University is seeking applications for one or more module External Examiners to join another recently appointed individual, to consider a suite of level 7 modules contributing to Postgraduate Certificates and a Postgraduate Diploma. These routes are delivered part-time in conjunction with private CPD providers for qualified veterinary surgeons.

We are seeking new External Examiners with experience in one or more of the following areas of small animal practice:

• Cardiology 
• Diagnostic Imaging
• Surgery
• Ophthalmology
• Emergency Medicine and Surgery
• Endoscopy and Endosurgery 
• Dentistry

We are also seeking a new External Examiner with experience in:

• Equine Medicine


The appointment(s) are to start ASAP and would normally be for four academic years (2019-2022), with duties to include external moderation of coursework and examination questions, annual attendance at (June) Subject Assessment Board and completion of an annual report. 

Previous external examining experience is preferred but not essential as you would have contact with the other external examiners across the department.
