Dear All,
This Friday, April 12, is the last day for submitting an abstract to the
American Crystallographic Association meeting (https://www.aca2019mtg.com/). The
meeting takes place July 20 to 24 (2019) in Cincinnati. We are still looking for
abstracts for the session "What is the meaning of resolution?" which happens on
the afternoon of July 24.
The session will address many fundamental resolution-related questions, such as
how to report anisotropic diffraction, how to deposit sharpened crystallographic
and cryo-EM data, what standards should be followed when reporting experimental
data, and how best to validate results. Additionally, the controversies
surrounding resolution and their origins will be discussed. Experts in the
field, both invited and selected from abstracts, will provide their insight in a
series of talks, and this will be followed by a panel discussion.
Abstracts can be submitted at: https://acaonline.secure-platform.com/a/
