Call for POSTERS
The GRASPA-SIS biennial conference of the Italian research group for
Environmental Statistics will be held on 15-16 July 2019 at the
University "G. d’Annunzio" of Chieti-Pescara. GRASPA 2019 is also the
2019 European regional conference of The International Environmetrics
Society (TIES).
GRASPA 2019 endorses co-operation among statisticians, academics from
environmental sciences as well as practitioners from government and
independent environmental agencies creating a space for the exchange
of experiences and ideas on various aspects relevant to the protection
of the natural environment. GRASPA 2019 is an opportunity to share
research interests related to the development and use of statistical
methods in environmental sciences, fostering methodological
developments and applications in fields such as spatial and
spatio-temporal modelling, functional data analysis, directional data,
spatial and spatio-temporal sampling and extreme values.
GRASPA 2019 is based on 10 invited specialized sessions with
discussion. However, PhD students, post-docs and other researchers
working in the field of environmental statistics are all invited to
participate at the conference and present their works during the
organized poster sessions.
Authors wishing to present a poster are invited to submit a short
paper (i.e., abstract up to 4 pages describing the contribution using
