The Stationers’ Company is pleased to announce that Mathys & Squire and Picon are continuing their sponsorship of the Innovation Excellence Awards that celebrate the design of novel products, services, and business processes across Stationers’ diverse sectors.
Innovation is at the forefront of our industry and the Stationers’ Company recognises this with its annual Innovation Excellence Awards.
We welcome entries in all the sectors relevant to the Stationers’ Company, including:
• Library, Archive and Conservation
• Digital publishing
• Book and magazine publishing
• Paper and other printing media
• Printing supplies including inks and coatings, office supplies
• Printing machinery, printing techniques
• Packaging
• Computer software, applications and games connected with the above sectors
• Novel methods of communication, marketing, advertising and publishing, including within the broadcasting, print media and digital sectors
• Products or services that streamline doing business in our sectors
Organisations operating in these sectors are invited to share their examples of innovation and creativity. Entries may be for the design of novel products, services or business processes and we welcome nominations from commercial companies, charities, trade associations, individuals, educational institutions and public bodies such as museums, libraries, galleries and archives. There will be awards in key categories, as well as an overall Innovator of the Year.
A team of expert judges will be looking for novel ideas and solutions to existing challenges, accompanied by evidence that the innovation has been, or will be, translated into worthwhile benefits – financial or social. Each entry will be evaluated on the novelty of the innovation, its economic performance/potential and/or its likely overall social impact within the UK.
