Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate (PDRA) in statistics/machine-learning/data-science tenable from March 2019, for a period of two years. This project, funded by the Alan Turing Institute fellowship award “analysis of jointly embedded cyber-security graphs”, will deliver statistical theory and methodology supporting the following aims: a) to develop a principled and tractable framework, at the intersection of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, for joint modelling of networks and b) over the course of two years, collaborate with industry and government partners to see prototype algorithms and software deployed on cyber-security applications. The PDRA will work with Dr Patrick Rubin-Delanchy, within the Institute for Statistical Science of the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol. Application deadline: 4th March 2019.
