Hi all,
The Archives Portal Europe is forging ahead, and currently planning an exciting re-development of the website.
We would be very grateful if anyone interested in APE or who has used the website could fill in the online survey about your experience of APE. It is available from the homepage: http://www.archivesportaleurope.net/
If you know of any researchers who would be willing to complete the survey, do please encourage them.
As the Archives Hub descriptions are all automatically harvested by APE, it is a useful resource for researchers who want to cast their net wider than just UK archives. It includes over 30 European countries. It does focus on National Archives, but the intention is to continue to expand across all European repositories and beyond - anything that is about the history of Europe. If you join the Archives Hub you will be included in APE and you can get involved in the APE projects and thematic campaigns - currently we are running one on Industrial Heritage through Twitter and Facebook - @archivesportal #industrial heritage.
If you just want to give me feedback that is also fine. We want to gather as many user requirements as we can prior to setting out our plan for re-development.
with best wishes,
Jane
