Senior Frontend Developer (Ireland)

In this role, you will be joining a growing team who work remotely from their home locations around Ireland or at customer sites, mostly in Dublin. The Irish team are part of the wider development team based in Cambridge, UK. We work at all levels of the technology stack on our wide range of new and existing products and geospatial solutions. Working in an agile team you will be involved in all phases of software development from analysis and design to implementation and testing.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and modern browser capabilities
• Extensive Angular 2+ and TypeScript experience
• Experience and familiarity with:
o Unit testing
o Version control tooling (e.g. Git)
o Continuous integration servers (Jenkins/Hudson or TeamCity)
• An interest in modern development practices
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Experience and familiarity with web mapping technologies (e.g. OpenLayers, Leaflet, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, GeoServer)
• C# and .NET development skills
• Knowledge of ASP.NET framework
Joining a team of remote developers, you will be given the opportunity to understand the business needs of our customers and deliver features and solutions that provide value to their organisations. You will be based at your home location in Ireland and will need to be available for occasional visits to customer sites, mostly in Dublin.
