The Caribbean: port in the sea of Digital Networks
I’m a PhD candidate interested in chairing a panel on how the Caribbean connects digitally internally/externally at the Society for Caribbean Studies<http://www.caribbeanstudies.org.uk/> conference in July (UCLan, Preston). Seeking submissions by Jan 13th on digital archives, communication technology, e-remittance, e-marketing, Caribbean Studies digital/humanities projects, Black and Brown digital identities, YouTube serials, Instagram, What’s App, blogs/fan bases, diasporic creativity and family networks etc.
Diasporas of the Caribbean and various continental points of origin are in wired conversations traceable in the digital across the Atlantic- perhaps the panel can reflect that also! Email: Nadine via [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
