The Network of Iberoamerican Anthropologists (AIBR, *Antropólogos
Iberoamericanos en Red*) warmly invites you to the* 5th edition* of the *AIBR
International Conference of Anthropology*, which will take place in the
city of *Madrid (Spain), July 9-12, 2019*. In this occasion, the theme
is *THINKING
CULTURES, CHANGING WORLDS. *You can find out more about the Conference in

Portuguese).
For this 5th edition, we count on the support of the Department of Social
Anthropology and Spanish Philosophical Thought of the Autonomous University
of Madrid (UAM), and the Anthropology, Diversity and Coexistence Research
Group of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) as co-organisers.
We remind you that the *extended deadline* for proposal submissions will
end on Friday, *JANUARY 11th 2019*. This includes* the submission of *all
types of proposals (*panels, oral communications, posters, workshops,
audiovisuals, book launches and special formats*). You can have a look at
