Dear FSL experts,
I am trying to regress nuisance variables from preprocessed resting-state data after applying bandpass filtering but running into an error.
These steps have been completed thus far:
1) FEAT: motion correction, distortion correction, slice timing correction, betting of functional data, spatial smoothing, and registration.
2) fslmaths filtered_func_data.nii.gz -bptf 25 2.5 filtered_func_data_bp.nii.gz (for frequencies between .01 - .1 Hz)
3) For nuisance regression in the FEAT GUI: input = filtered_func_data_bp.nii.gz, Stats: FD confound file (from fsl_motion_outliers) and text files for CSF, WM, global signal, and lesions (generated using fslmeants from the bandpass filtered data).
My questions are:
a) What is the recommended order of preprocessing when applying a bandpass filter and regressing out nuisance variables for FC analysis?
b) Could the bandpass be applied at the very end (after preprocessing + nuisance regression) to the res4d.nii.gz image? How would this differ from applying the bandpass filter first and then regressing out the nuisance variables?
Here is the error shown in the report log:
/usr/local/fsl/bin/fsl_sub -T 45 -l logs -N feat2_pre -j 21329 /usr/local/fsl/bin/feat /Users/manglani.2/Data/Study/Study002/Rest/nuisance_lesionreg_bp.feat/design.fsf -D /Users/manglani.2/Data/Study/Study002/Rest/nuisance_lesionreg_bp.feat -I 1 -prestats
