I knew you wouldn't, Ian. I am just using the obviously differing
opinions about, say, CVMFS to get my own ideas into the frame. I'm big
on QA. We must assume there are many differing views on almost every
element of technology we use.
But the trouble is finding the time and motivation to organise and
collate "VO Operational Baseline Reviews". Knowing our users as well as
our tech might enable us to work better with new groups. That's my
theory, anyway.
But the grunt work of follow-up is not exactly "inspirational", and any
payoff only comes later ... I don't know how to fix that, yet.
