@Snyder, Yes I did mean something like an outer-product. Either of the same
rank, or one rank higher. Either kind would be usable.
DOT_PRODUCT is an inner-product, MATMUL is in a sense a generalisation of
that, and other array operations are element-wise. An outer-product structure,
i.e., element-pair-wise, would be a nice addition to the set.
@FortranFan, @Steve, Thanks for pointing me to 'Defined Operations'. I did not
know of it. I will use it to make what I want.
