Hi
I forward this message on on behalf of the UK government's new academic engagement officer at the Department For Transport.
Best wishes
Bryan

Dear Bryan,
I'm the new Academic Engagement lead for the Department for Transport, working for our Chief Scientific Advisor, Professor Phil Blythe.
My colleagues from the Transport Security team have organised a networking opportunity on the 22nd November in Manchester around Transport Security but also looking at the wider technological and behavioural aspects and challenges of engagement between Academia and Government.
We are keen to get as many leading academics there alongside policy professionals to discuss this crucial topic for us, as well as start to overcome some of the barriers to engagement with Central Government policy teams.
Please could you circulate the below link to register through the UTSG Mailing List?

Happy to discuss further,
Kind Regards,
Tom
