Sent of behalf of Charades Theatre Company - if you are interested in the place where science communication, theatre and music meet, 'The Mould that Changed the World' is an excellent place to start. Written by Edinburgh-based composer Robin Hiley and performed by local NHS workers and scientists as well as a cast of professional Scottish music theatre principals, the musical returns to Edinburgh and London after selling out its run in the Fringe in August, this time marking World Antibiotics Awareness Week. The show aims to raise awareness of the global health crisis of antibiotic resistance in an accessible way and is suitable for adults and families alike, with lots of activities surrounding the performance of the musical. All the performance details are below:

"Informative, educational, funny, silly and delightful, with highlights being the Great War Zombie Army, a team of pernicious dancing bacteria and some hilarious scientific fun-poking to a very sold out, appreciative and engaged audience.” (West End Wilma)
"On paper, a musical about antibiotic resistance may not seem like the most entertaining of subjects, but The Mould The Changed The World proves that even informative topics can stand up the with the best of musicals. A hugely enjoyable and educational show filled with the most infectiously catchy songs.” (All Edinburgh Theatre)
