Sorry to bother you, but I had a doubt about a result I obtained in the analyses I did.
I tested these contrasts:
1 0
0 1
1 -1
-1 1
And the design was:
1 1 0
1 1 0
1 1 0
1 1 0
1 0 1
1 0 1
1 0 1
1 0 1
I did this for each of the contrasts used in the prevoius second level analyses.
I obtained the activation regions for group 2 for the contrast 1 -1 and then the same result for the contrast -1 1 but this time for group 1.
This happened for the last two contrasts of the second level analyses, not in the same third level analysis.
Is it possible or I did something wrong?
I also wanted to ask you: I did the mean of the DVs, so now I am gonna test them on all the contrasts of the previos second level analyses using this design:
1 1 0 2.3 0
1 1 0 2.454 0
1 1 0 3.4 0
1 1 0 2.63 0
1 0 1 0 2.66
1 0 1 0 2.2
1 0 1 0 3.1
1 0 1 0 1.617
Contrasts:
1 0 0 0
0 1 0 0
1 -1 0 0
-1 1 0 0
Will it be correct?
