Dear staff of ESPANET and collegues,
I hope you don't support this professor and you don't distribute more
e-mails like this. I'm professor in Spain and the aim of this e-mail
is to confuse people. There is no political repression in Spain. There
is the normal and technical legal repression to everyone who try to
break the law, as in any democratic state under the rule of law. No
one is prosecuted because of his ideas, but because of his acts. In
Spain there are thounsands of people thinking and wanting that
Catalonia will be an independent country, but they didn't use public
money to implement potencially criminal actions, so they are not
prosecuted.
For instance, I am for the end of monarchy in Spain, even if a lot of
democrtic countries has a king as head of the state, and I support a
party that wants to run a public discussion about it, I can be an
activist against monarchy and for republic, but I can't do it by
ilegal means.
Regards,
