I believe that the LACZ beta-galactosidase is a prime candidate.
Here is a 2.2A example of the LACZ tetramer.

Just remember to have LACZ in condition which allow formation of the tetramer

Subject: [ccpem] Which protein can be a standard for cryoEM experiment
Dear all,
I want to know if there is some protein (~300 kDa, monomer, dimmer,
trimmer or a complex) that is easy to expression and purification in E.
coil and can be used as a standard for cryoEM experiment.
Thank you for your advice.
Best,
Wei-Fei
