Digital Learning Service Manager (Permanent – Full-time, £38,460 to £43,267 p.a.)

Are you enthused by the use of digital technologies to support learning and teaching? Do you have effective management, organisation and project management skills?
We’re looking for a customer focused Digital Learning Service Manager to lead our team in delivering a comprehensive multi-tiered support service for academic staff and students.
It's a friendly, successful, collaborative, high-performing, future-focused team that I'm proud to have been a member of for the last 6.5 years.
Based in our highly regarded Libraries and Learning Innovation service, the team supports users in exploiting our range of digital learning technologies, including the University Portal and VLE - MyBeckett (Blackboard Learn), e-portfolio (PebblePad) web conferencing (Adobe Connect), online assessment tools (Blackboard, Turnitin, PebblePad and others), and learning analytics (Eesysoft).
Team members work with course teams to support them in maximising their use of these technologies to deliver their curriculum in the most effective and impactful way.
You should have excellent communication and influencing skills and should be able to demonstrate an appreciation of the potential of learning technologies to enhance the experience of academic staff and students in a higher education setting.
