Hi Flora,
I'm helping to answer this question as I also have GE 3D ASL images that I would like to hear from expertise on how to preprocess/analyze it.
For your questions:
1. It should be a pseudo-continuous ASL according to GE's description: https://www.gehealthcare.com/en/products/magnetic-resonance-imaging/mr-applications/3d-asl---pediatric.
The post labelling delay (PLD) is 1525 ms. As for the pcASL labelling duration, is it Temporal Bolus you are referring to? If that's the case, 1500 ms. If not, I will try to find out from our fMRI center.
2. For the 2 volumes that the GE scanner reconstructs, one is the perfusion weighted image, the second is a spin density image. Is that the calibration image you are referring to?
If you need me to send you a sample of the GE 3dasl image, please let me know. I'd be happy to have you examine it.
Thanks for your help!
Best,
Sean Ma
