Dear FSL experts,
I want to use FSLnets (to compute connections between ROIs).
From the Matlab code I understand that for statistics FSLnets uses randomise with a supplied design matrix. From the online documentation for randomise, I see that it is not possible to do an ANOVA with 2 groups x 2 conditions and that instead I should make contrast maps (that is if using it in dual-regression with brain maps).
Applying this to FSLnets, does it mean that I should compute the nutmeats as z-scores and then also make a subtraction between the netmats and then use an unpaired t-test?
(Relatedly, if I also want to just do a within subject t-test, would it be better to use randomise with an within-subject design or is it the same if I again make z-score netmats, subtract them and then do a one-sample t-test?)
I would be very grateful for any advice
Jacquie
