We're looking for an Assistant Records Manager to implement improvements to the records management procedure and practice across the whole organisation.
The role will work towards the implementation of the electronic records and document management solution (EDRMS) at Kew and manage the operation of the Modern Records service, both paper and electronic.

Library, Art & Archives are responsible for organising and managing Kew’s paper collections and related electronic content in these three areas.
The Archives manage the institutional collection of Kew’s historic record of activities and also the organisation of the Modern Records, aiming to ensure records across the institution are organised in an efficient manner suited to furthering the organisation’s business aims.
This will be an exciting time to join the team, as working closely with the IT department, we will be implementing an electronic document and records management system across the organisation.
With a postgraduate qualification in records management or archive administration (or equivalent), the post-holder will be expected to have previous experience of working in a records management position, ideally with SharePoint.
An excellent understanding of records management and information legislation is essential. In addition the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to be used to working with a wide range of stakeholders and have good organisational and time management skills.
The salary will be £27,325 per annum.
