I would like some help / advice about how to tackle our school archives so that it is catalogued and organised in a manageable way for the long-term future. I am a qualified librarian but have little idea about how to go about organising our chaotic archives. We won't be able to employ a qualified archivist to do this but we do get a lot of enquiries about our school history etc so we need to have a sorted and organised collection. Are there suitable courses available that would provide me with the basics of organising a small archive? Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
