Hi,
I am not sure if i understand well how fslstats calcualte the number of pixels.
I have T1 images of the same size of 2 subjects same scanner etc..
I have run the pipeline fsl_anat and I am interested in the segmentation of csf, G and W matter
My pve files created look perfectly good.
My question is how can be possible that the total number of non zero voxels is different? if the images have same size??
%get first number <voxels> <volume>
csf_sub1 = fslstats subject1_pve_0.nii.gz -V
gray_sub1 = fslstats subject1_pve_1.nii.gz -V
white_sub1 = fslstats subject1_pve_2.nii.gz -V
and the same for subject 2
csf_sub2 = fslstats subject2_pve_0.nii.gz -V
gray_sub2 = fslstats subject2_pve_1.nii.gz -V
white_sub2 = fslstats subject2_pve_2.nii.gz -V
But then the sum:
csf_sub1 + gray_sub1 + white_sub1 != csf_sub2 + gray_sub2 + white_sub2
is different !! shouldn't be the same ??!!
