The University of Bolton is seeking to appoint experienced and suitably qualified Greek speaking academics to act as External Examiner for the first two years of the following programmes run in collaboration with New York College Athens and Thessaloniki. These four year programmes are delivered for the first two years (HE3 and HE4) in Greek (including two English Language modules). For Levels HE5 and HE6 students join the cohorts for the three year programmes (taught entirely in English) and EE responsibility for these years will thus be shared with the EEs covering those programmes.
BSc International Hospitality Management with Foundation Year (2+2)
BSc Business Management with Foundation Year (2+2)
BSc Psychology, Psychotherapy & Counselling with foundation Year (2+2)
As well as being bilingual (Greek and English) you should have understanding and experience of delivering UK Higher Education (most likely from being / having been a Senior Lecturer or Programme Leader in a UK university.
The External Examiner will be expected to attend the programme assessment boards (which may be in Greece), consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process.
