the far horizon
hangs there grey
& cut off by camera
s edge a shade
of distance difference
caught in perfect focus
as below each piece
of land sea bridge
holds the eye first also
focused perfectly
till it drops to
that lower window
vertigo of straight down
through girders rails
to the always waiting sea

Drag yr mouldy old bones
Up these stairs & tell me
What you died of,
I think
I’ve got it
Too.
