BSG Ecology is looking to grow our GIS team and recruit a Graduate GIS Consultant to help support the GIS work of our nationwide ecological consultancy.
Based in our office at <b>Worton, Oxford</b>, your role will include maintenance and development of the business’s GIS capability, and the provision of graphics support to the ecology team. BSG Ecology’s project work presents a range of technical challenges and our GIS team has a key role to play in delivering good advice on the most effective ways to interrogate and present data to a wide range of clients.

<h3>What we are looking for:</h3>
Graduates and early-career candidates with
<ul>
<li>An appropriate degree or equivalent in GIS, spatial analysis or a related discipline</li>
<li>Experience in a desktop GIS package, preferably ArcGIS</li>
<li>Experience in open source GIS, such as QGIS and GRASS GIS, would be an advantage</li>
<li>Experience in AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop would be an advantage</li>
<li>Confidence in written, verbal and technical communication and a demonstrable track record in both</li>
<li>The ability to identify technical solutions in relation to GIS, spatial analysis and data management</li>
<li>An organised approach to work, flexibility and a high level of motivation</li>
<li>A proactive approach to learning</li>
</ul>
