In September, October and January, Jumping Rivers will be hosting numerous
R training courses in Newcastle. All courses consist of a mixture of
lecture material and practical sessions, each with its own dedicated R
package containing documents, practical solutions and data sets for
participants.

*Newcastle*
*10th - Introduction to R - *An introduction to fundamental R concepts
that requires no previous programming or statistics experience.
*11th - Statistical Modelling with R - *Introduction to a number of
introductory statistical routines in the R programming language. Topics
covered include linear regression, hypothesis testing, clustering and
principal components analysis.
*12th - Advanced Graphics with R* - Moving on from R's base graphics,
consideration of how graphics are composed and the excellent ggplot2
package.
*13th **- Mastering the tidyverse - The tidyverse is a coherent system of
packages for data manipulation, exploration and visualization. Learn how to
manipulate data, reshape data and deal with dates and times efficiently by
looking at packages such as dplyr, tidyr and lubridate. *
*14th - Next steps in the tidyverse - Master techniques such as text
mining/cleaning, functional programming and factors by looking at packages
such as stringr, broom, purrr and forcats. *
