PARTICIPANTS NEEDED for Department of Health study in NORTH EAST England
ATTUNE: Understanding Pathways to Illicit stimulant use (specifically amphetamine type stimulants)
The ATTUNE study looks at illicit stimulant use. In brief, we’re looking to understand why someone might start, stop or choose not to use illicit stimulants at all (specifically speed, ecstasy, mephedrone, or illicit use of Ritalin/Adderall/Modafinil TM) and the linked impact this has on health and wellbeing. It would involve a face-to-face or telephone survey with a member of our research team and would last about 45 minutes. Interested persons should be:
• over the age of 18 and live in the north east
• to have used either in the past (at least 12 months ago) OR
• to have used in the last 3 months OR
• to have had the chance to use in their lifetime but chose not to
Eligible participants receive a £10 shopping voucher. Participation is voluntary, anonymous and confidential. We have received NHS ethical approval which is the gold standard.
