Dear all,
UCL wants to hire a post-doctoral researcher to lead the development of a driver seat made of soft robotic structures to allow intuitive human-machine interaction in future autonomous vehicles. Further activities will include the integration of the seat into a driving simulator, involvement in outreach programmes, impact activities and academic publications.
This appointment is for 12 months in the first instance (with a possible extension of up to 12 months) with an immediate start.
This research post is part of a 2 year EPSRC funded project called "iSeat - Towards an intelligent driver seat for autonomous cars" (https://bit.ly/2NDk7ST).
