Dear All,
A few weeks ago, the Prokhorov Centre hosted Miranda Carter, author of
biographies of the art historian and spy Anthony Blunt (2001) and
Wilhelm II (2009).
I conducted two interviews with her: one on Anthony Blunt, one on her
historical detective novels.
The interviews can be found here:
Part1 (on Anthony Blunt): https://youtu.be/Y72xjISmCX4
Part2 (on historical fiction): https://youtu.be/YxohsRLMqCo
ABOUT OUR GUEST
Miranda Carter is an Oxford-educated historian, biographer, and novelist.
Her first book was a biography of the art historian and spy Anthony
Blunt ("Anthony Blunt: His Lives", 2001), while her second book was a
biographical study of Wilhelm II, Nicholas II, George V ("The Three
Emperors", 2009). More recently, Miranda Carter has written (as MJ
Carter) a number of Victorian detective novels, the Blake and Avery
Mystery Series.
Best wishes,
Henk
