Morning
Another GDPR related question.
We have been getting revised contract terms to incorporate GDPR related issues. One of the points we have come across is requests to increase insurance liability to cover Cybermedia data breaches. In one instance the requested increase is 20 times our current liability level. The data we hold and process for the controller is basic contact details (e.g. name, email, telephone and in some instances signatures).
The question is what criteria should we think about when we consider if we need to increase our insurance liability? We have done some thinking about this but we want to be as confident as possible in our assessment before making any changes.
Many thanks
