Good morning everyone
I am looking for speakers/workshop facilitators to take part in an upcoming event I am organising for MRC funded PhD students within the Discovery Medicine North and IMPACT DTPs.
This core training event called "Meet the Editors" on the 9th August here in Sheffield.
Please find an outline for the day below, I am looking for experts/speakers for the following topics.
Changing role of social media and altmetrics in scientific publishing (talk)
Developing a publication strategy (group work)
Careers in science publishing (talk)
If you are interested in taking part, please reply to this email and we can discuss it further.
I can offer all travel expenses and an overnight stay in the beautiful, outdoor city of Sheffield.

11.45 - 13.00 Ethics in Publishing: Debate with expert panel of editors: Ethics, data integrity, responsibilities of editors and authors, predatory journals, open access. (Expert panel)
