Hello everybody, today is World Sickle Cell Day and there's lots of information/activities on the website of the Sickle Cell Society of which I am a Patron: http://www.sicklecellsociety.org
For example, they are currently asking for views on 'NHS England’s planned changes to short-term and emergency care for people with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD)'. http://www.sicklecellsociety.org/scsr2/
NOW, I will be 71 in a few weeks time so I've set myself a challenge to raise £710 for the Sickle Cell Society through a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser page. In just a few days the total already stands at £397!!
Can you please donate a small amount to help me raise the outstanding £313 for the charity and thus reach my target?
Many thanks and here's the link: https://m.facebook.com/donate/238226360274028/238226366940694/
Best wishes, Elizabeth
