The NBK https://www.jisc.ac.uk/rd/projects/national-bibliographic-knowledgebase is a fantastic cataloguing/collection management/ ILL initiative that we can all help to create.
It does not matter what library management system you use or whether you contribute your catalogue records to COPAC, OCLC etc.
Please help us to create a new and inclusive service for UK Libraries by sharing your CURRENT metadata workflows for physical and electronic resources.
Dear all
The National Bibliographic Knowledgebase community survey is now live at:
https://jisc.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/national-bibliographic-knowledgebase.
This survey is an opportunity for your library to participate directly in the development of the National Bibliographic Knowledgebase (NBK).
It has been drafted by the NBK Community Data Groups (in conjunction with Jisc) as a key resource to inform the future development of the NBK and its support materials.
Please complete the questionnaire as fully as possible in order to give as comprehensive an understanding as possible of the issues and challenges of working with the NBK.
We suggest that one person coordinates the reply for each institution. Closing date is 29 June 2018.
Thank you for your participation.
