Dear All,
I should clarify that Copyright Law in the US is complicated. If the
works were published before 1978, and if copyright was renewed during
the 28th year following publication, it will extend up to 95 years. I
do not know if Kipling's estate did this or not, but in any case works
published before 1923 are in the public domain (ie out of copyright) and
this covers most (many?) of Kipling's greatest works.
