Apologies for cross posting
Jisc is working with publishers Adam Matthew Digital, Brill, EBSCO and ProQuest to lower the cost of acquiring digital archival collections of primary source materials for Higher Education.
This initiative is the second phase of the digital archival collections group purchasing pilot (https://www.jisc.ac.uk/rd/projects/digital-archival-collections-group-purchasing-pilot), with the aim of making digital archival collections of primary source materials more affordable. This community-centred approach works on the simple market principal that the more that is purchased collectively by institutions, the lower the price for all who participate.
We are holding a free webinar on 6 June 2018, from 1100-1200, to provide more information about the project, the publishers involved and the collections available.
