William Booth College in Denmark Hill, London, will be hosting the free exhibition 'Quiet Room', a collaboration between photographic artist Tony Mallon (Digit in the Rib) and The Salvation Army International Heritage Centre. The exhibition is a reflection on the interaction between the Heritage Centre's archival photographs of Salvation Army hostels for the homeless and Mallon's project, 'Homeless', which moved beyond the human presence to explore and examine the spaces and experience of living in homeless hostels in Merseyside today.
There will be a free launch event for the exhibition on Thursday 17 May from 5-7pm in the Hub of William Booth College. All are welcome to attend. The exhibition will run from 17 May-30 June and will be accessible Mondays-Saturdays, 9am-7pm.
