Hello WAN members
The Demolition Project's May soundwalk is next Saturday 26 May!
It's the third in a monthly series of walks in Docklands, exploring the layers of a complex urban landscape and soundscape. This time we're back in the Royal Docks/Silvertown, an area which is experiencing rapid transformation as part of an enterprise zone.
This is a soundwalk - an adventure in listening. We'll walk across bridges, beside water, past construction sites and through parks and residential areas.
We're meeting at 11am at Royal Albert DLR station, by the ticket machines, with a plan to end at about 1pm, at a point close to public transport links. There will be a chance to share our experiences (and get a coffee) when we've finished walking.
