The following funding is available for MRes or PhD study at the IMLR in 2018-19
MRes or PhD Bursary (Germanic Friends)
The Friends of Germanic Studies<https://modernlanguages.sas.ac.uk/about-us/germanic-friends> have made available a scholarship designed to support a student who has been accepted for the Institute's MRes in Modern Languages <https://modernlanguages.sas.ac.uk/graduate-study/mres-modern-languages> course, and who intends to write their dissertation on a German-related topic, or who has been accepted for the MPhil/PhD degree in German literature at the IMLR.
The scholarship provides a fee waiver of up to 100% of the full-time or part-time Home/EU tuition fee, and is tenable for one year (full-time) or two years (part-time) in respect of the MRes, or three years (full-time) or five years (part-time) in respect of the MPhil/PhD, beginning in October 2018.
Applicants should have a good honours degree in German (Upper Second or First).
Deadline for applications for the academic year 2018-19: 31 August 2018.
