This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data manager/statistician who is keen to develop a career in the growing field of health care performance assessment.
The Lindsay Stewart Centre for Audit and Clinical Informatics at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) is seeking to appoint a part-time data manager/statistician to be part of a multidisciplinary team of staff conducting the National Maternity and Perinatal Audit (NMPA).
The NMPA evaluates the quality of care received by women and babies cared for by NHS maternity services in England, Wales and Scotland. Its aim is to compare the care provided and outcomes achieved by these units across a range of audit measures.
The role will involve working with the NMPA team to manage and organise linked national datasets, and to design and implement statistical analyses.
