Archives Revealed: Scoping Grants
We are looking for qualified archivists to join our list of approved consultants/experts who are able to provide advice and expertise to archive services and deliver our structured Scoping Grant reports to successful applicants. Consultants can either act on a freelance or consultancy basis, or on behalf of a larger organisation who provide consultancy/advice as a service. The Archives Revealed team will provide guidance to consultants on how to undertake the assessment and deliver the structured report.
What are Scoping Grants? - The Archives Revealed Scoping Grants programme aims to help organisations to strategically plan next steps and advocate internally and externally to gain support for projects or development plans. Scoping Grants fund the delivery of a structured report incorporating expert advice on areas relating to collections management and the development of collections.
What is in each report? - The reports will include an overview of the current status of the collection, analysis of condition, significance, existing and potential use, levels of access, and existing documentation, with recommendations for next steps and development goals.
For further information about the Scoping Grants programme and how to apply to join the list of consultants/experts, please contact us on [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
