Free registration is now open for the Mini-Symposium "Clinical Translation of Genetic Research: A Path from Academia to Industry" on Wednesday 25 April 2018 at Charterhouse Square (QMUL).
This afternoon symposium, jointly organised by Queen Mary University London and University College London will have talks from four experts from industry: Regeneron, GlaxoSmithKline, Genomics plc and Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult. Our speakers initiated their research in academia, and now work in industry on projects focusing on clinical translation. They will share their knowledge, give advice and answer questions from the audience.
The symposium will offer an introduction on the route of clinical translation of genetic research findings by industry. Collaborations with companies in the healthcare sector is an essential step on the route to improve diagnoses and treatment using non-invasive techniques.
The symposium will help us to look beyond publishing and will offer a unique opportunity to exchange your viewpoints with the experts in an open discussion session to further develop skills, ideas and interest.
