Thanks, Doug. The mania is not quite run-on, I think, as last week’s Stuff
definitely was. Puzzles can be attacked in waves. I think I will keep the
triplets but tighten them a bit. I agree that ejaculate is out of order. I
was thinking of the release as a puzzle is solved but often this is
actually fairly low key, an anti-climax really, if you will, after all that
involvement.

Who would volunteer for imprisonment,
solitary confinement, cutting off commerce
with the world, even from loved ones?
Who would submit to hidebound rules,
jamming the head, setting up internal,
infernal monologue?
Who goes at it like a terrier; fiddling,
retreating, hypothesising, re-attacking,
not stopping until solution sits?
Solvers that’s who - itch scratchers,
puzzle plungers, habit addicts, those
whose minds need to find
even temporarily, some order,
some finite stopping point
amid the madness.
