Dear Members of the List,
I hope this email finds you well. If you are a KS2 teacher, please read the following message or if you work with KS2 teachers could you forward the following message to them.
I am Abdullah Ciftci, a doctoral research student at University College London, supervised by Dr Evangelos Himonides (Reader in Technology, Education, and Music at the UCL Institute of Education). My research focuses on the use of ICT in primary classrooms, particularly for the development and attainment of pupils with behavioural problems. I am interested in how teachers use ICT, why they use ICT and what kind of ICT they use in their classroom.
I would be grateful if you could support this research with your participation. This involves teachers in KS-2 to take part in a survey (The link of the survey is below). I am looking for teachers who can offer details about their use of ICT in their classroom as well as teaching and learning activities that take place in their classrooms. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and all responses will be kept confidential.
By participating in the research, you will be contributing to a project that will deepen our understanding of classroom use of ICT, learning of pupils with behavioural problems so contribute towards developing ways of improving teaching and learning practices and attainment of pupils with SEND in the future.
University College London has strict ethical procedures on conducting ethical research with teachers, consistent with current British Educational Research Association guidelines. During your participation in this project, if you feel the need to report concern and/or complain about the process you can contact my supervisor ([log in to unmask]) or the Chair of the UCL Research Ethics Committee ([log in to unmask]).
