The reference Simon provided is just to the Empire Windrush, but BT 26 as a
whole contains all passenger lists for all vessels up to 1960. The description
of the class states the particularly pieces of information recorded. What's
unclear to me (because I haven't looked closely) is the status of lists from
after that date. What's also unclear is whether Home Office staff have easy
access to the digital versions of these records, in the way that those at
Croydon had access to the landing cards.
