italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear Italian Studies subscribers,
I'm writing to draw your attention to the opening event of this year's Essay Film Festival, 21 March at Birkbeck Cinema.
Distinguished film scholar Laura Rascaroli, of University College Cork, will be discussing her recent book How the Essay Film Thinks (OUP, 2017), and presenting Pietro Marcello's film La bocca del lupo (2009).
Here you can find some information about the event and about the Essay Film Festival generally: http://www.essayfilmfestival.com/session-one-laura-rascaroli-lecture-screening-la-bocca-del-lupo/
Although I am not a member of the Italian Studies community, I hope that this event may well be of interest to your fellow researchers and students.
Best wishes, Michael
