Dear colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that the Connected Cities Group at the University of Greenwich is announcing its fifth workshop on Smart Urban Policy Futures.
The 2018 workshop is set to take place from July 9th -10th 2018, at the University of Greenwich, Maritime Campus.
This year we are planning an additional day (July 11th) to accommodate training events and site visits – details to be confirmed.
This year’s workshop sets out to explore what connects cities and what makes cities important places for people, businesses and other organisations.
We particularly encourage submissions from academics and practitioners alike on topics such as:
* Urban infrastructure systems and utilities: Transport, energy, water, waste, communications
* Health, wellbeing and the movement of people and goods in cities
* Logistics, closed-loop supply chains, circular economy
* Sustainable urban enterprise, urban business ecosystems
* Governance and policy
