Our next Teaching and Learning Conversation (TLC) is on Tuesday 27th March at 12:00 – 1300 (60 minutes) with Dr Beck Pitt, Researcher, Open Education Research (OER) Hub.
This month’s TLC is titled ‘Open Textbooks in the UK’. Open textbooks can help alleviate the burden of textbook costs for students and provide teaching staff with content that can be customised for their course. Open textbooks are full, real textbooks, used by many instructors in North America, and these books are licensed to be freely used, edited, and distributed.
Come and find out more about open textbooks and the work of the UK Open Textbook Project, led by The Open University (UK).
Attendees to the session will be eligible to win a £25 Amazon or iTunes gift voucher, we have 15 to give away!
Full details of this TLC are available on the TLC website
