Dear FSL experts
I have a group of Parkinson's disease patients. I generated bilateral probabilistic tractograms from the substantial nigra to the putamen and I obtained asymmetric results. In some patients, the tracts on one side have higher intensities than the contralateral side. It turned out that the side with low intensity (low probability) tractogram was contralateral to the most clinically affected side.
How Should I interpret this? Does this have any biological significance? Or probably Am I doing something wrong?
Any idea would be greatly appreciated
Thank you
