Dear colleagues,
After much valued feedback anf collaborative editing with our inspired visual anthropology students here is our short documentary of the strike.
It is a film strongly influenced by remarkable anthropology colleagues and students at SAC and our pedestrian crossing picket in the snow .
I hope the message resonates strongly with the experiences of solidarity and engagements throughout the country. The challenges we face around precarity, overwork and neoliberal management extend right across society.
The intention is for this documentary to be shared online to demonstrate the remarkable solidarity built between staff and students , that it may inspire more support and give a better appreciation of the considerable work and organisation that goes into building solidarity.
It also shows the considerable momentum we have built around the issues of the marketisation of education and the precarisation of staff and that we are winning.
The fight is not yet over. May this documentary be a small contribution to reclaiming our universities and creating the society that takes care of all.
Please watch and share widely.

In solidarity,
